In aromatherapy, Rosemary offers anti-stress, cognition-enhancement, psycho-stimulant and decongestant properties.
Therapeutically, Rosemary is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, detoxifying, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, carminative, laxative, decongestant, anti-septic, disinfectant and anti-nociceptive.
Around the House: Rosemary essential oil’s anti-viral, anti-microbial and anti-septic properties make it a natural homemade multi-purpose cleaning spray to cleanse indoor environments and eliminate harmful bacteria. A dilution of Rosemary oil in distilled white vinegar and water makes a spray cleanser that is suitable to wipe down surfaces like countertops.
How to Use: Add 3-6 drops in a diffuser, a couple of drops to your diffuser blend, or a drop or two with a carrier oil in the bath or a massage blend. Always dilute with a carrier oil prior to using on the skin. If pregnant, lactating or taking medication consult a physician prior to use. Avoid eyes, mucus membranes and sensitive skin.
