Palmarosa essential oil is a member of the Lemongrass family, and is historically known as Indian Geranium Oil because of its lovely scent. Palmarosa is a very moisturizing oil, so it is a natural in skincare applications for both humans and animals. It is also amazing at naturally reducing stress and anxiety, as well as assisting with arthritis and rheumatism. Palmarosa is quickly becoming one of our all time favorite oils!

Aromatic Note: A middle note, Palmarosa essential oil has a sharp, floral note with a hint of rose.
Blends Well With: Bergamot, Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Cypress, Frankincense, Jasmine, Juniper Berry, Lavender, Lime, Neroli, Orange, Rosemary, Sandalwood, Vetiver and Ylang-ylang.
Historical Uses: In skin care, Palmarosa essential oil can be very balancing for all skin types, and can assist with acne, psoriasis, shingles, fungal infections and the healing of cuts or bruises.
Emotionally, Palmarosa essential oil can be very soothing during times of stress, grief and heartache.
Therapeutically, Palmarosa essential oil is a great digestive aid and can assist with intestinal infections, inflammation and dehydration, as well as having anti-septic, anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties. It is also great for muscle aches and pains.
How to use: Add 3-6 drops in a diffuser, a couple of drops to your diffuser blend, or a drop or two with a carrier oil in the bath or a massage blend. Always dilute with a carrier oil prior to using on the skin. If pregnant, lactating or taking medication consult a physician prior to use. Avoid eyes, mucus membranes and sensitive skin.
