Scrambled Tofu
Ingredients:
1 16oz block extra firm non-GMO tofu, drained and cubed
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs like rosemary, thyme and oregano
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon low sodium tamari (soy) sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
Serves 8
Drain tofu on paper towel for about 10 minutes.
Cut into 1/2 inch cubes or crumble with clean hands and place in medium mixing bowl.
Add spices and mix well.
Heat a skillet over medium high heat, add olive oil.
Add tofu, stirring quickly to avoid sticking. Cook about 6 minutes until browned on all sides,
stirring often.
Serve warm with toast, warmed tortillas or breakfast foods of your choice.
